"Thomas", the follow-up short to BAFTA-nominated "Ralph" by director-producer team Alex Winckler and Olivier Kaempfer, is awarded funding by the UK Film Council Completion Fund. "Thomas" is due for completion in April 2010. Please see the "Thomas" page in the filmography section for further details.

"Before Breaking Bollywood", the three minute trailer for Parkville Pictures' upcoming feature project "Breaking Bollywood" (Dir. Lorne Guy) wins the Sony "Make A Movie" competition, and will now be pitched to Sony Pictures executives in Los Angeles.

"A Road Apart" (Dir. Olivier Kaempfer) is selected for the 17th Plus Camerimage International Film Festival, to be held between 28th of November and the 5th of December 2009 in Lodz, Poland

"A Road Apart" (Dir. Olivier Kaempfer) is selected for the 7th London Short Film Festival (8th-17th January 2010)

Principal photography is wrapped on "Thomas", the new collaboration between Alex Winckler (writer/director) and Olivier Kaempfer (producer) following the success of "Ralph". The short film was shot on 35mm entirely on location in Devon. The film is co-produced by Tomboy Films and executive produced by Glynis Murray, and the film received additional funding through Working Title Films. "Thomas" is due for release in 2010.

Parkville Pictures will work with Tomboy Films ('Somerstown', 'Shooting Fish') to make a film to be written and directed by Charlie Fink of the band 'Noah and The Whale' and produced by Olivier Kaempfer, to accompany the release of the band's new album courtesy of Mercury Records.

"Ralph" is selected for the 59th Berlin Interational Film Festival 2009.  The film will be in competition in the 'Generation' program of the festival.

Parkville Pictures' Olivier Kaempfer is invited to participate in the Berlinale Talent Campus at the 59th Berlin International Film Festival 2009. 

The Campus, which is described by www.berlinale-talentcampus.de as "an international summit of the most talented up-and-coming filmmakers", is an annual event that takes place parallel to the Berlin International Film Festival.

"Ralph" wins the BEST BRITISH SHORT award at the 22nd Leeds International Film Festival.

"Ralph" plays as part of the 'Big Mouth Strikes Again' program at the Times BFI London Film Festival.  In attendance at the screening at London's National Film Theatre are the film's stars, Ralph Laurila and Julie Dray, who travelled over from the set of her latest film in France for the screening.

"Ralph" has been selected by the UK Film Council for it's 2008 New Cinema Fund.  "Ralph" will be premiered in June 2008 as part of the UK Film Council showcase.

"Ralph", directed by Alex Winckler, is a Parkville Pictures production that was shot in Marseille, France in 2007.

Parkville Pictures is represented at the 2007 London Film Festival as an official industry delegate.

Parkville Pictures wraps principal shooting on its third 16mm short entitled "Eve", directed by Thanos Psichogios and produced by Olivier Kaempfer. 
A six-day shoot on location in London culminated in a ten-hour night shoot on Ridley Road Market in Hackney and Stoke Newington Church Street.
