Sundance 2018 Grand Jury Prize-winning, BAFTA-nominated and multi-award winning Parkville Pictures is led by London-based producers Olivier Kaempfer (Screen International 'Future Leader’ 2015) and Cecilia Frugiuele.

Having established itself with numerous successful shorts on the international festival circuit, the company’s first three features were all debuts: Jules Bishop’s Borrowed Time (Edinburgh ‘Best of The Fest 2012), Desiree Akhavan’s Sundance 2014 hit and Indie Sprit Award nominated Appropriate Behaviour, and Alex Taylor’s daring SXSW 2016 debut Spaceship. Parkville's fourth feature The Miseducation of Cameron Post is Desiree Akhavan’s follow up starring Chloe Moretz (Kick-Ass) and Sasha Lane (American Honey), The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 22, 2018 where it won the Grand Jury Prize.


Nurturing diverse voices and developing distinctive stories from script to screen is at the heart of the company’s mission, and Parkville’s work has been funded by BFI, BBC Films, Creative England in the UK, and Beachside Films in the US. Parkville Pictures was selected by BFI for their prestigious 'Visions Award', which will fund Parkville’s growing development slate, the first announced project from which, The Warning, will be a co-production with Oscar-nominated James Schamus’ US company Symbolic Exchange.
